23 rd April – Playgroup Session

Our First Free Community Playgroup in Craigieburn

On 23 April, Early Foundation Childcare proudly welcomed local children and families to our very first free community playgroup in Craigieburn.

It was wonderful to see children visiting our early learning centre for the first time, exploring the environment and confidently engaging in a range of play-based learning experiences.

We were also delighted to welcome Josie from Craigieburn Library, who led a warm and engaging story-time session for the children. Families enjoyed stories, bubbles and friendly conversations while getting to know other parents from the local community.
Throughout the session, children participated in:

• Painting and creative art
• Home-corner and imaginative play
• Puzzles and problem-solving activities
• Cars and construction play
• Playdough experiences
• Interactive group activities

While the children played and explored, families had the opportunity to meet our educators and learn more about our approach to early childhood education and care. Guests also enjoyed cardamom tea, fresh sandwiches and snacks prepared by our centre chef.

Our community playgroup is designed to give children a relaxed introduction to an early learning environment while helping parents connect with other local families.
