15 th May – Mother’s Day Event

Celebrating Mother’s Day with Our Craigieburn Families

On 15 May, Early Foundation Childcare welcomed mothers, fathers, children and families for a warm and memorable Mother’s Day celebration.

The afternoon was filled with creative activities, outdoor play, delicious food, laughter and meaningful moments shared between children and the important people in their lives.

Children and families enjoyed:

• Art and craft activities
• Bracelet making
• Playdough and colouring
• Outdoor play
• A family photo booth
• Afternoon tea and refreshments
• Handmade gifts created by the children

One of the most memorable parts of the event was our special mirror display, which asked families, “Who is the best mum?”

When each mother opened the curtain, she was greeted by her own reflection—a simple but meaningful reminder that every mum is valued and special.

Families also enjoyed our pink tea, inspired by traditional Kashmiri chai, along with cupcakes, fresh fruit and a range of finger foods.

Family events are an important part of life at Early Foundation Childcare. They help strengthen relationships between children, parents and educators while creating a genuine sense of belonging within our Craigieburn childcare community.
