EFC Open Day & Father’s Day Celebration in Craigieburn

A Day of Family, Fun and Community at Our Craigieburn Open Day

Our recent Open Day and Father’s Day celebration at Early Foundation Childcare Craigieburn was a truly special day for our centre and the wider Craigieburn community.

Families, children, educators and local community members came together for a day filled with fun, food, entertainment and connection.

For us, the event was about more than showcasing our centre. It was an opportunity to welcome the wider community into EFC and celebrate the people who make Craigieburn such a vibrant place to live and raise a family.

Something for Everyone

The day was packed with activities for children and families to enjoy.

Highlights included:

  • Dinosaur rides
  • A jumping castle
  • BBQ and a full food spread
  • Music and dancing
  • A Father’s Day photo booth
  • Elsa character appearance
  • Face painting
  • Children’s activities and entertainment

Seeing the centre filled with laughter, conversations and families enjoying the space together was exactly what we hoped the day would be.

Celebrating Fathers and Families

With the event taking place around Father’s Day, it was also a wonderful opportunity to celebrate dads, grandfathers and father figures within our community.

Our Father’s Day photo booth became a popular part of the event, giving families a chance to capture special memories together.

Welcoming the Wider Craigieburn Community

One of the highlights of the day was seeing so many local families come through the centre and learn more about Early Foundation Childcare.

We were also pleased to welcome Deputy Mayor of Hume City Council, Cr Ally Watson, who joined us on the day, met local families and spent time with members of the community.

Her attendance made the day even more meaningful and reinforced the importance of strong connections between local families, community leaders and early childhood services.

Introducing EFC to More Craigieburn Families

Since opening in March, Early Foundation Childcare has been focused on building strong relationships with families and becoming an active part of the Craigieburn community.

Our Open Day gave families the opportunity to explore our centre, meet our team, experience our environment and learn more about our approach to early learning and care.

We are proud to offer long day care, kindergarten and early learning programs in Craigieburn, with a strong focus on belonging, relationships, quality education and family partnerships.

Thank You to Our Community

To every family who attended, supported the event, joined in the activities and spent time with us — thank you.

Our Open Day was a celebration of everything we want EFC to represent:

children, families, connection and community.

We look forward to welcoming even more Craigieburn families through our doors in the future.
