DESCRIPTION:Celebrating Eid Together at Early Foundation Childcare\nOn 10 June\, children\, families and educators came together for a special Eid celebration at Early Foundation Childcare Craigieburn. \nThe afternoon was filled with delicious food\, musical chairs\, laughter and warm conversations. It was wonderful to see children\, parents and educators sharing the occasion and enjoying time together as one community. \nCelebrating important cultural and religious occasions helps children develop: \n\nA sense of identity and belonging\nRespect for different cultures and traditions\nConfidence in sharing their family experiences\nStronger connections with peers and educators\nAn appreciation for diversity within the community\n\nAt Early Foundation Childcare\, we believe early learning is about more than activities and routines. It is also about building relationships\, celebrating the backgrounds of our families and creating an environment where every child feels recognised\, respected and included. \nEvents such as our Eid celebration allow families to connect with one another while creating positive memories for the children. \nThank you to all the families who joined us and contributed to such a warm and enjoyable afternoon. \nEid Mubarak from the Early Foundation Childcare family.

SUMMARY:18 th June – International Picnic Day
DESCRIPTION:International Picnic Day at Early Foundation Childcare\nOn 18 June\, our children celebrated International Picnic Day with a joyful outdoor experience at Early Foundation Childcare Craigieburn.\nThe children gathered together to enjoy fresh air\, shared conversations and a healthy picnic treat of creamy vanilla yoghurt topped with chia seeds. \nInternational Picnic Day gave our educators an opportunity to extend children’s learning beyond the classroom and encourage positive social and wellbeing experiences. \nOutdoor picnic experiences can help children: \n\nConnect with nature\nDevelop friendships and social confidence\nPractise sharing and group participation\nEnjoy meals in a relaxed environment\nBuild positive associations with healthy food\nExperience learning in a different setting\n\nThe yoghurt and chia-seed snack also supported healthy eating discussions. Yoghurt provides calcium and protein to support children’s growth\, while chia seeds provide fibre and beneficial fats. \nThe children thoroughly enjoyed eating together\, sharing laughter and experiencing the simple pleasure of an outdoor picnic. \nAt Early Foundation Childcare\, our educational program includes special days and practical experiences that support children’s physical wellbeing\, social development and sense of belonging. \nInternational Picnic Day was another lovely opportunity for our little learners to explore\, connect and create happy memories together.
